Confined Area

Customer had new pipe rack project.  It straddled and overbuilt an existing rack and ran between existing equipment.  Soft soil required a large spreadfooter and not enough area was available.  The only alternative was some sort of deep pile.  ACIP concrete pile installing equipment could not reach all the pile locations.  Helical pile installation equipment could reach all the locations.  Helical piles were installed to stable soil at ~35′ depth.  The whole job only took a few days.  This solved a big problem for the customer and allowed him to maintain his construction schedule.
